Attacks
An attack must exceed the target’s AC to hit. When making an attack, guildmembers can choose to target either the enemy’s health or armor.
Targeting Health
A successful attack deals HP damage, reducing the enemy’s current health. Each weapon type has different rules for rolling HP damage.
Targeting Armor
A successful attack deals armor damage, reducing the enemy’s AC by 1, making its armor less effective and making the enemy easier to hit with subsequent attacks.
Making a weapon attack incurs disfavor on additional attacks made in the same turn.
Readying an action
Characters can withhold and action and instead plan an action to take on the enemy's next turn by choosing a trigger. If the trigger comes to pass, the action is taken.
For example: "If they charge me, I ready myself to back up/swing."
