The Passage of Time, Traversing the Dungeon

Watches

When in a dungeon, time is divided into turns, also called watches, each representing a passage of time. During each watch, the party determines what actions they will take during that time.

In a dungeoncrawl, traveling about 120 feet takes around 10 minutes (yes, this is very slow). PCs may travel through previously cleared areas up to twice as fast.

Actions

An action may involve the entire guild acting as one, or individual guild members acting separately. For example, the entire guild might spend a watch moving from one room to another, while individual guild members might perform separate actions while investigating a room.

Rest

Characters must rest for one watch every hour in the dungeon. If characters press on without resting, they suffer a penalty of one point stress until they have rested for one turn.

Every turn that passes without resting incurs one additional point of stress.
